Pattern: Retention of blood stasis which obstructs the vessels that serve the lower abdomen.

Indications: Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, retention of the lochia, post partum abdominal pain, acute, colicky pain in the lower abdomen, severe pain in the middle abdomen, or epigastric pain.
