Action and indication: Chronic diarrhea or dysentery.

Astringe Lung Qi: cough, asthma, or chronic cough withloss of voice.

Contraindicated: ext patterns, damp-heat accumulation.         

Raw: cough, loss of voice. Roasted: diarrhea.
