*Warm the Menses Decoction (wen jing tang)

Chief: Wu Zhu Yu, Gui Zhi

Deputy: Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Bai Shao, E Jiao, Mai Men Dong

Assistant: Mu Dan Pi, Ren Shen, Gan Cao, Sheng Jiang, Ban Xia

Pattern: Deficiency Cold of the Conception and Penetrating vessels with blood stasis obstructing the channels.

Indications: Mild, persistent uterine bleeding, irregular menstruation (either early or late), extended or continuous menstrual flow, bleeding between periods, pain, distention, and Cold in the lower abdomen, infertility, dry lips and mouth, low-grade fever at dusk, Warm palms and soles.

Cautions and contraindications: Contraindicated in cases with abdominal masses due to blood stasis from excess.
